My mum has been given a scenery with the Ayat ul Kareemah written on it, but she is not sure whether she is allowed to hang it up on the wall. I suppose if its written in a scenery then it should be allowed to be put up, but she wants to make sure just in case she might be disrespecting it in a way. Does anyone have any advice on this pleaese?
Hi, some time back we have had a detailed discussion here as to whether pictures are allowed in Islam. Do give it a read. I personally think its perfectly okay.
The philosophy behind disallowing pictures, as presented by those who disallow them, only holds for pictures of living things. So none of them should have a problem with this hopefully.
Thanx 4 ur reply paagal insaan, appreciate it.
