We have been doing the Ayat Kareema every Friday for the past 11 Fridays. We being a bunch of people from GS. This mubarik Friday, the 9th of Zil Hajj (in Pak), is the date for our last AK in this series.
**If anyone is willing to take out the time, then we need people to pray with us today. Today’s ayat kareema will be for a number of things, including a dua for Khawateen’s MIL. May Allah grant her deliverance soon and in a respectful manner and give Khawa’s family lots of sabr to deal with the difficult time and eventual loss.
The timings are as follows:
2pm PST - we begin
5pm PST - Dua
The above kalma will bring a LOT of blessings to your home. Please recite it openly and freely over and over again these two days.**
^ well we coordinate over whatsapp, make certain that dua takes place simultaneously. it's just a way to ensure that prayers are said and collective dua made. anyone can join in at these times knowing that around the world, xyz number of people are doing the same with them. usually we all know what we should pray for for each other as well and so that's a big bonus, having so many pray for you. dua usually takes form of two nawafil and then dua.
i think this is a great concept but i do think it belongs in the religion forum, not in parenting. i'm going to close this thread and if you like, you can either copy it to religion yourselves, or i can do it for you. just PM me and let me know.
