In Sunan Abu Dawud [h1460] it is narrated that Hazrat Abi bin Ka’ab said: Prophet Muhammad 
asked: O’ Abu Manzar! What is the most excellent verse of the Quran?” Abu Mazar replied, “ALLAH and His Messenger know best.” The Prophet said, “In your opinion, what is the most excellent verse of the Quran?” Abu Mazar replied, “ALLAH – There is no god but He”(i.e. Ayat al-Kursi). The Prophet placed his hand on his chest and said, “O Abu Manzar! May your knowledge be pleasant for you.”
Although its a good narration but I would like to know whether this saying i.e. Hadith is authentice or not as I unable to find it in hadith book.
