How sad that he’s gone well before his time. He brought laughter to so many - what a gift that is.

What a strange thing it is to think that the guy who entertained me so heartily as a child, and even as an adult, was battling, and eventually succumbed to, depression. Mrs. Doubtfire and Good Will Hunting prove how versatile he was, as comfortable playing the goofy dad as he was the kind hearted, closed off psychiatrist. It’s a wonderful gift actors have to affect the lives of so many, especially at a young age when we’re children.
