why do (some) guys go all gaga when a girl is sick or in pain?
it never occurred to me how big of a deal it gets made out to be.. infact i think its quite a handy tool for us girls

My brother (who plays the tough guy and hardly ever acts like someone with a heart, except for with his cat, which he picked up off the street months ago, sick and dying) makes me lemon tea every 3 hours when he thinks I'm falling sick, buys me soup and offers to spoonfeed me, sprays my room with bug spray (which I never do for him), and checks up on me regularly to make sure the blanket's fluffy enough.

Haha, going a little off-topic here, but he's 17, so he's just got out of that annoying stage, really. He went out with 2 of my friends and me a few days ago and he kept picking on my friends, wouldn't let us listen to our music, stole our cushions in the car, and told us thrice (or was it four times) that we were very boring. Brothers will be brothers.
but thats still cute... my bro wouldnt ever do that for me. my cousins on the other hand are quite different... they're always ready to do something for me (i miss them)

I'll take your word for it Aish (I'd always wanted a little sister, but I have seen some pretty scary things happen with sisters so maybe it's better to stick to baby cousins.)
So, to stick to the topic, if it weren't my brother and just a random bozo, I'm not too sure I'd want to be constantly aww'd and stuff. It could get maddeningly suffocating when it's excessive dontcha think? (Then again - everything's unbearable at an excess.)
awww no i love my lil sis.. shes great although her mood swings are quite unexpected and i have no idea what to do with them half the time. Bros and sis's are both good... i have the best (or the worst) of both worlds...
hmm its nice to awwed over sometimes.. like every 2-3 months, but on a regular basis it just gets boring
