Mario Vargas Llosa was this year’s Nobel prize winner for literature. Howard Jacobson just won the Booker (which is open to Commonwealth countries). How much of a difference does it make to you if a book wins an award, are you more likely to read it? Do you respect it more, or does it make no difference?
Re: Awards.
I would like to read just to get it what is in there which makes it so famous.
Re: Awards.
Thanks UZ. I pay attention to the Nobel winners, more out of curiosity than anything else.
