The best thing to come out of Canada since …. well since …. since …. ok, she’s the only decent export the Canadians have given the world. This girls is wicked. Not only did she have me singing along to Complicated all summer long, but now has me humming along to Sk8er Boi – I feel like a 16 year old again. It doesn’t matter how old you are, her songs make you feel like such a teenybopper. Infact, I might just go down the park n getting totally rat arsed on shandy – ne1 wanan join me?
What really impresses me is the way she don’t feel the need to strip to her underwear to sell her records – she relies on her talents.
Oh come on Sadi, Avril Lavigne? the best Canada has exported?? What about the "Guess Who", "BTO", "Blue Rodeo", "Bryan Adams", "Tom Cochrane", "Jeff Healey", and tons and tons more talented artists. Avril Lavigne is childsplay.
Fret, who the hell are these people? Have u just picked random names from your telephone directory? You should be proud of Avril. Us Brits will gladly adopt her if you don't want her.

Sadi, these are world renowned Canadian artists. Are you telling me you've never heard of Bryan Adams or the "Guess Who"?? What about Rush? I can tons of more bands, in the rock and metal genres.
Sadi, the whole world knows about these bands. Especially Bryan Adams and Rush. Rush has influenced countless bands in the rock genre, even t’ill this day. Try doing a search on Canadian artists, and you’ll be surprised at how many artists you probably like and never knew were Canadian.
I just tried doing a search - and I've not heard of a single one of these Canadian 'artists'. You guys sure need to learn how to make music. How the hell did Avril survive in such a tone deaf country.
Sadi, you've got to be joking right? Rush are one of the fathers of progressive rock, they're from the 70's and are still around today. Bryan Adams???? You've never heard of him??? "Summer of 69"?? What about the Guess Who "American Woman"???
You sure it's not a conspiracy by the Canadian government to get you guys to believe that these bands actually exist and therefore not lose hope that one day you'll learn how to make music?

LOLOL. Oh come Sadi, if Avril Lavigne is all you heard from Canada, that is quite sad. You didn't look hard enough on the web.
Read up on their history. They regularly tour europe to sell out crowds on every album release, so I'm really surprised you haven't heard of them, when most of the UK raves about them.
