Out of sight, out of mind? How many people here practice this approach? I usually tend to keep away or try not to bump into relatives who usually have a problem with every single thing. These are usually shallow things like usne kapre kyun ache pehne thay? usne aise kyun bola? iska matlab kia thaa? ( P.S. Women just being women) Basically,people who like to dig deep into minor things and create unnecessary complications for themselves and others.
Do you actually believe that avoidng them would stop themfrom thinking about you?

HAHAH, NOPE, cos everytime i see people i want to aviod, i always end up on their hit list anyway, theyll go home and tell someone whol tell someone else etc etc and eventually il get to hear it....basically they say `usko deka, she DELIBERATLY ignored us/gave us dirty looks/ etc, even at times when I GENUINLY havent seen them...

Yes, same here. It's not just that they make a problem out of everything you do or don't do, but also they gossip and lie to you about other people. It's not just relatives who do that, also just people I know more or less, so I do try to avoid those kinds of people as much as possible. I know they still talk against me and other people, but at least I won't have to hear that rubbish. Sometimes I do find out however through someone else what the latest "news" against me is and quite often, it's so absurd I can't help laughing about it. I keep praying never to become like them.

dont let them get to you…they are just bored people who have nothing better to do than poke their noses in other peoples businesses…and ive noticed day by day they are getting worse and worse…and they are sooo bloody nosey…we dont ask them about their personal stuff why do they ask us 
sometimes sitting with them feels like an interview…but much more intense than a job interview for example…
