I was hooked on SAFI a while back, every morning I would mix a tablespoon of it in a glass of water and drink the solution, it was instantly refreshing.
We also had this iron drink (folaad) to mix in milk but I poured it away, it was an import from Pakistan.
And we have this bitter powder (some sort of crushed roots/leaves/bark?) for headaches and spots and what have you from eating too many sweet things, looks suspicious to me.
