I have more iron in my blood than normal for a female/male. This is because for years I took iron tablets cz my thalessemia was misunderstood by doctors as being iron deficiency. They thought my anemia was cz of lack of iron when it wasnt. Now the red cells count in my blood is 6.7 whereas the normal range
for a male is : 4.6 - 6.2
for a female is : 4.2 - 5.4
You can imagine how much iron of is in exccess in my blood. But it is of no use cz it is not being properly distributed to different parts of my body.
