Can’t there be any system on Gupshup that allows people to choose their own Avatars.
This will allow them freedom to choose whatever they want and whenever they want.
It will save Admin a lot of time.
Mods/Admin can have the authority to delete the offensive avatars. Just like their work in moderating the posts.
No matter what avatar people choose it should be fitted into a standard graphics size.
How difficult would that be in technical terms?
Just few suggestions.
