The avatar size limit set by Mr Custom or the Admins is 40 x 40. I once sent my Avatar picture and size was 38 x 42 and it was rejected by Mr Custom and I was told to reduce the size to the proper size limit (40 x 40), which I did and I later was granted my desidred avatar.
Now My question: In addition to a few moderators’ oversize avatars, a few members have oversize avatars as well. Are those members exempt from this rule? Are those people who make the rules and make sure that other people follow those rules and guidelines (Moderators) not obligated to follow those rules themselves? No I am not complaining about Wada Sain’s avatar. He’s the owner of this website, he can do whatever he wants because it’s his website and he is providing us a free service and we are very thankful to him for that, but what about other members and moderators who have oversize avatars?
I sent Mr Custom a PM about the same question about a month ago or longer, and my querry was never answered. Therefore I am asking this question here and I am hoping that someone will be kind enough to solve my confusion.
I thought Moderators and Administrators visit feedback forum everyday. So many view yet no replies. I am sure high ranking people have also viewed this thread. Since there is no reply from anyone for five days, I have no other option, except to commit the crime of flooding by posting three consecutive posts.
I think I couldn’t find the answer there, and that’s why i opened this thread because that thread is closed and i can’t ask any questions there. neither did i see somewhere written “such and such members are the exceptions”
what i have read is:
waisay meri english itni achi nahi, lekin from what i see, this is what i understand: the maximum size is 40 x 40. some members’ sizes are larger than the set limit. I sent mr. custom a pm regarding this issue but nothing happened. I thought he will reduce it for us if it exceeds the limit, and he doesn’t care about the quality and sharpness?
The second post in the thread discusses the bigger avatars which were approved historically. Most are resized, while some are left alone. This is the discretion of Mr Custom, as the Administrator.
If you are unhappy with some members for having a bigger avatar, then unfortunately there is no other place you can complain about it, because Mr Custom is the top-most authority in these decisions.
I really feel no need to prolong this discussion any more. And I think that is the reason why Mr Custom didn't feel the need to respond to your PM or to this discussion. So might as well save your breath and instead focus on having fun with your friends here instead of measuring the avatars of other much senior members. :-)

just like brother Anwaar mentioned, I was also unable to find the OTHER exception that you mentioned. I think "Mr Custom" forgot to write that in the other thread, can you please add that there now and edit it :(
And I would like to know the reason for this discrimination :) How old do you have to be to get a bigger size avatar because I really need one. I would LOVE to wait til that long. And I am not to say but as an Administrator, your answer "So might as well save your breath and instead focus on having fun with your friends here instead of measuring the avatars of other much senior members" was not satisfactory and didn't really answer my question. Is it because there's no right answer for my question because I am raising my voice about a valid issue? And I am not a little kid who you are telling to go play with friends :) I know all the admins will want to ban me now, and I won't be surprised. Pakistani site hai, what can one expect, yahi ho sakta hai. Whenever someone raises his/her voice about a valid issue, either kill him or ban him because we don't like to hear the reality :)

You can wait for as long as you want for a more "satisfactory" answer. I will just recap, that this is entirely a decision of Mr Custom, and to my knowledge he is not approving any large avatars any more ... no exceptions. Then again, he can do whatever he wants. If you find it unfair, try to figure out who do you want to complain. :-)
