You can easily get multi-vitamin tablets and Omega 3 capsules are surely avialble at any pharmacy.
American/European(Centrum) brands are relatively expensive incompare to local counterparts.
FazalDin & Clinix are famous and relaible for imported stuff.

CB, I live in Pakistan not Lahore though. If she is getting the vits from a Pakistani based company then they are not really pricey. I dont know the exact amount but i found them very cheap, esp vit Bs. Flaxseed aswell is very cheap and very easily available. Omega 3s on the other hand, the ones i bought were imported(the only i could get my hands on) and were pricey, there might be some cheaper options available. I had to take them for my depression.
If you are in lahore, kisi b rickshaw k peechay parh loo, you ll get cheap but monsteroursly powerful vitamins.Their single dose will make you gora(horse) and the next morning you ll die.
I didn't mean to worry you. May vitamins in the US contain added gelatin (esp. gummy vitamins) or are derived from unknown/unacceptable sources (often B12). I often have to go out of my way to find either vitamins that are suitable for vegetarians or where the capsule is made from fish gelatin. These tend to be harder to find and more expensive. I was wondering if the ones sold in Pakistan are made from all Halal ingredients even though GNC is a US based company. If they were, that would be awesome. Another thing to buy when visiting Pakistan!
So I just looked the the ingredients for the fish oil and vitamins and both contain gelatin. In the US the gelatin will of course be from non-zabiha sources and may contain gelatin derived from pig unless it is labeled Kosher. You should ask your local GNC (please let us know!). The products may be made locally with Halal gelatin. I buy:
I called them and they had no idea !!! what would you expect from people here in pakistan. he said ’ humayn tau salary milti hai yeh products sell karnay kay liay…aagay apki marzi hai layn ya na layn’ I asked dont you care to know if you are selling haraam stuff ? and he said ’ abb mai amreeka jaanay aur confirm karnay se tau raha’ Just threw away 4 jars I bought last week.
any alternatives that are effective and available in lahore ?
