^thanks....problem is that we get only 1 hour to watch something on internet every night, at the moment my husband is hooked on "dexter" and the only thing I got to watch on iplayer was Gardener's World....i should probably watch these episodes with my kids in the morning.
There was a piece on Horse Chestnut trees and why their leaves are turning brown so early. I have lots of horse chestnut trees around my house and the leaves have all already turned brown…I was wondering why it was happening so quickly and so early and they explained why on Autumnwatch. Apparently the trees have been infected by a type of moth larvae that burrows into the leaves and kills the leaves off.
