Re: Autumnwatch 2009
hmmmm…quite interesting and informative. My 5yrs old watched the whole programme without getting up once.
Deers----I was a bit concerned but thanks God they didn’t go into much detail. phewww ![]()
Barnicle Geese----Is that how you spell it? This is for the first time i’ve heard their name, quite interesting black&white birds. Would like to knoe more about them sometimes.
Beavers----doing great by getting lots of work done, good to know that. :k:
Mice----those wood mice were so cute.
Badgers----I started to like them after reading The wind in the willows…just a few months ago i saw a dead badger on a road and last year a hedgehog who laid still on a path in woods, i wonder what killed it…may be a bike overran it.
Always wanted to have an apple tree in the backyard, seems like soon this wish will be fulfilled. inshaAllah
Thanks for sharing the video…btw did I miss anything?

Brilliant footage of Barnacle Geese, Killer Whales and Gannets diving for fish.

Re: Autumnwatch 2009
Episode 4
BBC iPlayer - Autumnwatch: 2009: Episode 4
**One of the most iconic and jaw-dropping moments of the series is in Episode 2 when they film small birds such as Swallows and Pipits migrating and heading out over the sea. **
You can see it in the first 10 minutes - somewhere between 7th-11th minute. These small land birds fly over 60 miles of stormy waters to get to France!
