Which features in your current vehicle do you love, and feel they’re essential. Which features do you dislike, and wish they were done away with for lack of functionality or otherwise. Which features would you like to see become standard on vehicles, and/or become introduced in vehicles.
Google as a network giant, and Toyota as an automobile company for the masses are making strides in auto-driven automobile technology, and networking as we know it today will probably play a big part in the coming age of automobiles from the looks of it.
My current favorite features in general on cars: Blindspot Monitoring, Park Assist, Drowsiness Monitor, Lane Assist, and Distronic. I think those are awesome features to have in any car, and aids the driver from everyday city driving to long routes which can lead to drowsiness.

The thing with all these 'safety' features is they try to mitigate human error. I am all for eliminating human error. So I propose, linkable autonomous cars.

Not automotive, autonomous. As in self-driving. Oh yeah, by then 'fuel-efficiency' will be moot; am pretty sure they all will be electric. So we need to come up with new terms for its impact on environment.

The one good thing that will happen with this is that the car will park itself. Doesn’t it grind your gears when you see people back into your vehicle’s bumper while parking, or while getting out? I dread going to certain areas known for such shenanigans.
