There are lots of websites about islamic knowledge, so is/are there any authorized organization(s) which is/are testing whether the material given on the site is true?

If Allah(SWT) wants you to learn the truth. You will recognize the
true information.

Why would Allah (swt) want for us to NOT learn the truth, and in a manner purposefully mislead us?

yep you are right rehman1 but
-I think there should be some authority about it, it's really sensitive issue.
there are bad guys too out in the web.
-whatever we learn from web about islam we should also do a lilttle research from scholars.

also look for lectures by Bilal Abu Ameenah Philips.

If you use Pak websites, use them with caution.

All praises are due to Allah. We praise Him. We seek Allah's help. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our souls and our sinful deeds. For whoever Allah guides, there is none to misguide him. For whoever Allah sends astray, there is none to guide him. And we bear witness that Mohammed is Allah's servant and messenger (the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to the whole humanity.
