An Austrian court cleared a far-right politician of incitement on Friday, ruling that an online anti-mosque game used in his election campaign did not encourage violence against Muslims in real life.
Freedom Party deputy Gerhard Kurzmann used the game in his failed bid to become governor of the southeastern province of Styria in 2010.
Prosecutors accused him of inciting religious hatred and defaming a religion with the game.
The "Bye Bye Mosque" game let players shoot cartoon mosques and Muslims emerging from an idyllic country scene.
Judicial authorities forced the Freedom Party to take down the website after the game sparked sharp criticism from Austria’s Social Democrats and Greens, as well as the Islamic and Roman Catholic communities.
“It did not reach the threshold of incitement and I would also say this was not the intention,” Judge Christoph Lichtenberg told the Graz court in remarks carried by the national APA news agency.
The prosecutor’s office plans to appeal.
The game was developed by the same Swiss public relations firm that created anti-Muslim and anti-immigration campaigns for the rightist Swiss People’s Party. Its creator, Alexander Segert, was also cleared by the court.

there is no possibility of them going against jews, it doesnt has any political implication on local election. For the people on the top of politics religion is just a tool to gain power.

cant you see prosecutors filed the case because it was their duty, irrespective of the community ? i am hundred percent sure austrians are not like many other countries where rape and conversion of a 12 year old minority girl are helped by those who ought to be there to stop it. dont bother austrian judges are not some stupid bigoted talibani jehadi mulla , they have established system of justice .the court of law has taken it's decision , prosecutors are going to appeal , now either you wait or you go to austria and help the prosecutors if you have any case of hatred against muslims incited by this game . remember if they dont get manmutabik decisions you like ,try to respect law of country . why are you always on such weird mission of maligning the whole world as anti muslim? cant you live peacefully ?

certainly it is incitement for those who are in search of incitement , like our own and only, always on such missions.
you don't have to search to find it incitement you have to be brain dead to not see it. If i make film or video game of blowing up gudwara or hindu temple and killing all sikhs and hindus that is incitement for anyone with common sense.

consider hindus as brain dead , only and idiot of a hindu will search internet for incitement and get offended, there are few in india but ,an educated hindu will laugh only on such incitement gathering . forget it we have thousands of other problems .
if authorities are taking action against culprits , then we should start complaining just for the sake of maligning a country purticularly when our(india and pakistan) records are worst in persecution of minorities and freedom of practicing of their religion .
