***There have been a lot of questions on whether Australia have ever lost an ODI by ten wicket. Well Travis confirms that they haven't, so this could be the first time. New Zealand have won only once by ten wickets before.

It's been 22 years since New Zealand last had an opening-stand of over hundred against Australia. Australia have been defeated by ten wickets for the first time in ODI history today. They were missing five key players - Ponting, Gilchrist, Clarke, Lee and Symonds - but they have been humiliated.

May be NZ providing some comfort to Inzi that with a depleted team in the absence of some major players, a best team in the world could be defeated by 4th ranked team with 10 wickets and half the overs to be spared. Statistically speaking it is worst than a third place team loosing to a secone place team.
