It's taken him just seven balls to get his first Ashes wicket and that pitches outside off and beats Langer's forward defensive, knocking back off stump. Panesar is immediately celebrating, running around in a loop, whooping and beaming. Giles on the balcony has a full beaming smile, delighted with England's progress

51.4 Panesar to Gilchrist, OUT, but Panesar has struck again! This time Gilchrist comes forward to defend and the ball cannons off his pad onto his inside edge and balloons up to Ian Bell at short leg and he scrambles over and takes a catch over his shoulder at a stretch. Great catch, Gilchrist doesn't wait for the decision and Monty's on fire.
3 wickets for Panesar so far.

Giles is a slow medium pacer. He can't really be called a spinner because a spinner by definition must be able to turn the ball.

England are in a good position but I won't be surprised if they get bowled out for < 200 or Australia put up a sizeable total in the second knock. Australia still favourites IMO. To beat this Australian side you have to do well for 15 out of 15 sessions. Even one bad session against them can cost you dearly as England found out on the last day in the second test

It will be fun to watch the Ashes but CBN will switch the stream to India vs SA game. That suck, oh well atleast by the time India vs SA starts the Ashes may have progressed to tea time.

I am phoning ATN's office, and requesting they put India vs. South Africa on the Tamil channel or something for a short period of time. Who the hell watches the Tamil channel anyways?
They can put a little bulletin on the bottom telling viewers about the short change in scheduling.
