Re: Australia under-19s V Pakistan under-19s
Not all that bad looking at the card...1st game was quite unlucky...
Performances that stand out from the cards...Taimur with the bad got two fifites and Mohammad Aamer performed well in both games with the ball...
Anyone got any info on these two guys?...
Re: Australia under-19s V Pakistan under-19s
I don’t know too much about Taimur but Mohammed Aamer has performed excellently in domestic U19 tournaments, he is a left arm fast medium bowler from Rawalpindi, he is only 15 years old (according to his profile anyway).

Shahzaib Ahmed of Karachi had a good game and a bad one, he is a leg spinner and his performances in domestic U19 tournmants have been awesome

Imad Wasim has done well again.
Junaid Khan and Mohammad Rameez didn’t do well but they were selected after some very good domestic performances, hopefully they will recover.
Re: Australia under-19s V Pakistan under-19s
Knowing that they are playing in Australia, I think they have performed admirably well. Our senior team does not even bother to make it competitive. The first game...ahhh lost by one run. Sucks
Re: Australia under-19s V Pakistan under-19s
Yeah not bad at all
Re: Australia under-19s V Pakistan under-19s
Pretty decent job considering they are in Australia. What kind of pitches were these?
The difference in the 2 side is clear though. The 100 in both matches from Australia is what lifted them to wins.

Well there you go Rock Express, Pakistan defeated Aussies by almost 100 runs (99) in 3rd game

Shan Masood 45, Umar Amin 52, Zeeshan 37 and Imad Wasim 40 no off 33 balls. All the fast bowlers did well and Aamer continues with another good performance.
So it’s not all that bad afterall??
Re: Australia under-19s V Pakistan under-19s
Yeh this guy is 15yrs old and hes causing the Aussies all this trouble...definitely looks a decent propsect...
Re: Australia under-19s V Pakistan under-19s
Impressive come-back win by Pakistan under-19 and that too by almost 100 runs

Junaid khan and Amer look like good future prospects. Also Imad wasim and Gulraiz seem like good hitters.

Impressive Pakistan level the series 2-2
Series goes down to the wire

PAKISTAN levelled the five-match under-19 international cricket series at two-all by romping to a four-wicket win at Henzell Park in Caloundra last night.
The fifth and deciding match will be played at Henzell Park tonight.
Set an imposing target of 311 for victory, Pakistan cruised to victory with four wickets and more than three overs to spare.
Australia coach Brian McFadyen conceded his side was simply out-played. “We were pretty happy with what happened in the first half of the day with our batting,” he said. “But once we went out into the field they totally out-played us.
The Australian bowlers strayed off line with the ball and were punished accordingly by a ruthless Pakistan batting line-up.
“I think we were a little bit loose there (with the ball),” McFadyen said. “It was just simple basic things like bowling tight lines and our lengths weren’t great.
“We’ve got to get back to the old basics, just control and execution, which we didn’t do well enough.”
The Aussie lads have less than a day to turn things around, but McFadyen is confident they can do that.
“It’s just a matter of re-focussing a little bit,” he said.
“We probably got a bit complacent. With 300-plus on the board they probably just thought they could roll out there and have success.”
Earlier, Simon Keen and openers James Smith and Phillip Hughes had steered Australia to their highest total of the series.
Smith (70 off 76) and Hughes (63 off 50) got Australia off to a flier, smashing a first wicket stand of 130.
The pair brought up their first 50 runs in 9.1 overs and then blasted the next 50 off just 4.2 overs. Hughes now has over 300 runs for the series after hitting twin tons in the opening two matches.
Keen then blasted an incredible 92 off 62 balls to set up a mammoth total. Pakistan’s run chase was underpinned by an impressive 98 off 84 balls from Umar Amin, while Imad Wasim’s 31 not out off 18 balls ensured victory for the tourists. Leg-spinner Sam Robson (2-54) and Daniel Burns (2-33) were Australia’s best with the ball
What a performance by youngsters, this one shows that their earlier performances were no flukes. Chasing down 311 in Australia with more than 3 overs to spare is a GREAT achievement, Umar Amin has played some good knocks and Imad has consistently proved himself.
Fantastic effort!!

Re: Australia under-19s V Pakistan under-19s

Even though we have lost the series but one of them was just by 1 runs, this one by 19 and even the first one was by few runs. We chased down 311 and other one was won by 100 runs so it’s a BRILLIANT performance by the U19 team.
Imad Wasim scores BRILLIANT 85 not out and young leg spinner took 5 wickets.
