Re: Australia retain top spot in ODI rankings ... Pakistan is 5th

I think Pakistan has been successful in retaining 5th position as well, its a tough challenge to be in this position, you need to be careful as one mistake can move you up to 4th or 6th place.

If you can move you up to 4th place in rankings, why not make that mistake? :p

Re: Australia retain top spot in ODI rankings … Pakistan is 5th

This time last year, I believe that Australia were on a 30/31-point lead. This is only from memory, which has gone down considerably. From the latest rankings, they only have a 12-point lead ahead of South Africa and India, which are tied at 119 points.

The Australia/South Africa series early next year will be a good test for who now stands at the top of the mountain.
