I am not talking about best place for tourism or spending you summer vaction but its the best place to live.
There is much more then just getting drunk @ 6th Street.
well tell me what there is to do in austin.........my brother and bhabi moved there recently so i visit them at least once a month, the only place we end up is San Marcos or San Antonio.........neither of us know what there is to do in Austin so please do shed some light on this matter!

Its a great place to live, for your kids. Its the #1 city in America for hi tech jobs.
It is good if you like some water sports I guess. Other than that I dont see much in Austin either. Therefore every weekend I am outta here.
Scenic, yes it is ...specially some parts of it that are in the outskirsts of the town. Small really nice waterfalls which are very hidden. Might want to check out Hamiltons Pool, a grotto with a nice waterfall.
