This article http://foxsports.news.com.au/story/0,8659,16953207-23212,00.html, shows you why aussies are such tough competitors. Although it singles out Shoiab and Inzi, it is very much on the mark why the asians and west indies are not able to perform to their fullest potential.
Re: Aussie professionalism and ROW..
how does it show that Aussies are tough competitors? All it does is criticise ROW players for not being a "team" though author himself/herself is saying that it was done in a short period of time.

Re: Aussie professionalism and ROW..
The dope head wrote in his very first line that several players should be embarrased and then bashed inzi and shoaib only while gave excuses for the the poor performances of other players like lara and dravid. Did he care to comment that lara scored 5 runs in 3 ODI and was so playing so casually as if it was a charity series played on the caribbean beaches. What about dravid who scored 46 runs in 3 matches. According to the dope head, draivd’s wife gave birth to a premature baby and secondly he was announced the captain of the indian team, therefore he was distracted. Bull$hit, he became father on October 11th after the ODI series was finished and according to india’s very own rediff.com, the mother and baby were healthly and cheerful (http://in.rediff.com/cricket/2005/oct/11dravid.htm).
And I am sure a player like dravid himself will never blame his captaincy as a reason of his poor batting performance. And what about the captains of the ROW. Were the 12 runs scored by smith more valuable than the century scored by hayden. What was pollock performace as a captain and bowler in the ODI series. The list of failures from ROW is countless but the point is why only blame shoaib and inzi?
The enire point of the column was that a racist prick wanted to bash couple of pakistanis and thats it.
Re: Aussie professionalism and ROW..
I hope we teach these morons a lesson on the field, Shoaib might have shown lack of concentration but did he perform any worse than Ntini, Pollock, Flintoff etc??? I am surprised the loser didn’t have a go at Afridi for being irresponsible:mad: . Sehwag, Dravid, Kallis, Pietersen, Lara ALL failed with the bat in ODI series.
In TESTS, Inzi did fail in the first inning, he was playing after 4-5 months and RUDY struck in the 2nd inning.
Re: Aussie professionalism and ROW..
Dude...the first two games...shoib akhtar made more runs then kallis and lara combined....
Re: Aussie professionalism and ROW..
Wow, what a worthless piece of journalism. Just goes to prove how low Fox media can go. The guy first says how crappy the World 11 were but goes on to single out Inzi and Shoaib for their pathetic performances. At the same time, it defends the rest of the World 11. But our Paki boys didn't do themselves any favors either.
