What a great performance by Rudolph. I never liked him as a player but he certainly proved many a critics wrong. Justin Kemp also showed that he can buckle down his devestating hitting to save a much. Awesome! 
How are they gonna accomodate Kallis for second test should be interesting.
Regarding aussies, This is their season of changes after Ashes debacle. They brought in another young player after Langer’s injury when they could have Hussey open the nnings and brought back Clarke but they chose to stick with Symonds after five test innings failures since his recall to test side. Maybe he will score an explosiive hundred in next test to save his butt but two incidents belie their ‘personal milestones’ and ‘everyone is dispensible’ theories. First Ponting inexplicably let Hodge play through till his double hundred (when he was incredibly arrogant and dismissiive when Lara delayed declaration for his 400 
. Second their search of all roudners is going on. Symonds was chosen as an allroudner (LMAO) and he bowled his first over of the match in the 100th over os the second innings.
Batting isnt their concern though with the likes of Hussey and Hodge proving themselves. Bowling should be as damning statistics show that young upcoming bowlers are not performing the way they should have. Nathan Bracken is a good stock bowler rather than a strike one. All is not rosey and back on track within aussie camp.
