What an incredible day of hard fought test cricket. SA innings followed a similar pattern to aussies with Lee being the cheid destroyer. But Hayden's dismissal right at the end meant that aussies are 0 rusn head with 9 wickets remaining.
should be another fascinating day's cricket tomorrow.

My bets are on aussies winning it in a tight finish.
SA needed a lead of at least 100 to chase a modest total in the fourth innings. A lead of 38 wasn't enough.
Warne in the last innings would be a difficult proposition to handle.

Perth wicket is a bowler's dream. If SA can get them out early (which is quite possible at Perth), this is a golden opportunity to beat Aussies. lots of time!

billy doctrove just gave ponting a life. called a no ball when bowler's foot was very much behind the line. jaques rudolph took an excellent catch but bcoz of that wrong no ball call he is still there to make it count. unlucky south africans.
could easily have been 90/3 but is 92/2.

yup! aussies will win comfertably, even wit out this decision, sa didnt have a big lead but had that stupid decision not been made, sa would have had a crack at aus middle order!
