Aus vs Eng - 4th Investec test - Ashes

Re: Aus vs Eng - 4th Investec test - Ashes

Australia all out 251. England win by an innings and 78 runs and regain the Ashes.

Re: Aus vs Eng - 4th Investec test - Ashes

Bravo, a great victory by England. Another three days result. Regaining the Ashes, big deal!

Re: Aus vs Eng - 4th Investec test - Ashes

4-1 is on.

Had England batted first on that flat Lords pitch who knows they might have won that test as well.

Re: Aus vs Eng - 4th Investec test - Ashes

In all, there have been 69 Ashes series played so far

Australia has won 32 series
England has won 32
Drawn 5

However Australia has won more Ashes tests than England

Out of the 340 tests played so far, Australia has won 139 and England 108 which means that when Australia win an Ashes series they often win by a bigger margin (but this could also mean they are more dominant at home). The rest (93) were drawn. The result % (247/340 =** 72%**) is quite high compared to Indo-Pak tests ((21 (12Pak-9Ind)/59 = 35.6%))

Starc commented Aussies are going to find a way to draw or win the match at the end of day 2.
