This thread is not sticky.

An example of discrimination against India on G.S :p

Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

Indians are already too sticky here..

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

El Sid has been reported.

All is well as Indian slip cordon regains form, with a catch slipping through Ashwin ' s hands off the penultimate delivery of the day.

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

As somebody said on Cricinfo:-

Kohli replacing Dhoni: No point in changing the cap of the bottle if the contents are bad, a shining cap will not yield better sales!!!! India's test team bowling attack - ZERO!!! Captain Cool or Captain Aggressive. No difference!!!!

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

The bowling wasn't that bad. Two sitters dropped in the slips. If the same Indian bowlers were to bowl with an Aussie slip cordon, their performance probably is much better. Pretty frustrating to watch your slips drop catch after catch as a slip bowler.

At sumps Aus 348/2

Aus batsmen hammer Indian bowlers.

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

A good toss to win. Flat Track.

The boundary at one side pulled in 15 meters. Very short boundary.

If Nohit lasts tomorrow final overs he could dominate this attack.

Thus unfortunately cementing his place in the Test team for few more forgettable innings.

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

India should have given Sanju .V.Samson a chance.

Saha who was instrumental in India's defeat in the first test match, when he threw away his wicket at a time India was winning the match, should have been penalised like this. This would have been an eye-opener for him.Besides,a young blood like Sanju could have secured a chance to perform.I do not know why Mr.Sastri gone with Saha option.

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

Also that would have given a lesson to Srisant .Like Srisant,Sanju is also from Kerala.Srisant due to his erratic attitude was inviting criticism from all corners. It is said that Sanju is a cool person.

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

I hear Sanju Samson is quite good. Didn't know he was in the squad. Never seen him play.

Sreesanth put his heart in the game. Yes. He got carried away. While he leaked runs, he could also produce some unplayable deliveries. This pace attack needs some aggression. Sreesanth provided it.

As for Saha , one poor shot shoukd not determine a persons.future. There needs to be more patience.

I don't get why the Kerala connection needs mentioning, by the way.

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

we are at fourth test and there is nothing new report, one can read the posts of 1st test and can summarize the fourth test.

India's strategy is to drop all catches and get the batsman bowled out. After all these woods are there for some reason, the bowlers are paid heavily they should be able to hit the timber. I am totally with the fielder who have to run all over the ground to fetch the ball and give back back to the bowler only to go after it again.

I mean, there should be some deliveries where ball should go in the hand of keepers, in cricketing term it is called, Beating the Batsman...

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

^ There were some breakthroughs. Two catches broke through the slip fielder's fingers.

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

You mean the fingers tried to get in the ball's way?

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

That would be too much to ask of the sleepers. The fingers just happened to be in the way.

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

Saha bungled a very important match for India and that too at a time when India was on the course of winning. That is more than suffice to rate his temperament.

Srisant’s aggression was over the board and it transgressed all limits,at times.

If Sanju.V.Samson gets a chance,it will be an eye-opener for Srisant. :cb:

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

Now,Smith hits another century.

Is he holding any record?Smith has scored his fourth century from 4th tests.

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

Maybe that is the problem with our selection - that we rate players based on one game.

Re: Aus v/s India 4th test - Sydney

Good that Aus is all set to make a huge total…because…

Kohli can now hit a Double. :champ:
