It is known that when his father died, he made known that only such person who has never missed Namaz-e-Tahajjud (Midnight Prayer) would conduct his father’s Namaz-e-Janaza (Funeral Prayer). But when there was no one found who had never missed Namaz-e-Tahajjud, he himself led the Namaz-e-Janaza of his father. Such was this pious king Aurangzeb Alamgir (may Allah (SWT) grant him highest place in HU's Jannat).

Great dude, the only committed muslim ruler among the mughal emperors. I always admired him for what he did and I always thought if I would be a kind then would it not be very difficult for me to abstain from all the bad things which his predecessors followed.

Wait a minute is it the same Aurangzeb who put his father(Shah Jehan) behind bars in Agra Fort(constructed by Shah Jehan himself)until he died 8 years late?

i am never impressed with these kings.. though claiming to be muslims lived levishly.. that is unislamically. Who do u supose he sold those caps to.. was he administering the huge country or sewing caps.. look at his clothes.. check who wrote history at that time.. kingship means killing many to capture throne...

It is right that every king has heads under his foots.
But he was honest for family and entire Muislims
