It's not about being born or bred in a different country, you're influenced by different people regardless of where you live. If your mom, aunt, people you spend time with are aunty types, chances are you would act that way too. Just like I used to think that men born and raised abroad are not so much of those meri-biwi-should-cook-do-everything types like they generally are in pak, especially the clingy to mama types, but I have seen SOOO many 'abcds' have the same kind of mentality. if you grow up in a certain lifestyle, you will become a part of it.
