As 14th august is coming close, the Pakistani spirits are awakening. So i thought why not enlighten the patrioitic spirits with some of the bitter reality our nation is facing.
Yes we are all proud Pakistanis and will love our country till death no doubt. But the question is are we willing to do anything for our beloved country, for which the love is expressed every 14th august. We are all smart, we all have a decent i.q level, and intelligent enough to slap a thief who reaches our front pocket while we are concious. So where does the intelligence, the love, the patriotism goes when it comes to our country, that gave us our identity? other then on 14th august.
When i turn on Paki news channel all these questions pop in my mind, is this the country i lived in for 9 years? is that really true? can people be that insane? can the government be that cold-hearted?
As per a survey, Asia has 70% of child labor, which includes Pakistan, india, bangladesh, nepal, sri lanka. There are laws against child labor in Pakistan,
but are they being enforced? i still see 8 -10 year olds driving rickshaws, or gadha garis. 2 crore of pakistan children are uneducated, going through child labor, and UNDER THE USE OF DRUGS!!! yes 2 crore, in pakistan, under the age of 16 not 18 are working to support families, and uses some sort of Drug(cocaine, weed, alcohol, heroine).
in the year of 2007, december, i visited Pakistan. On the day of benazir’s assisnation i was attending a wedding. When the news was heard, the nikah ceremony was hurried due to the news. I MEAN IN VILLAGE. Im still curious owhat Benefit benazir really had on the village, as per the shape it was in. So on the way back to the city, the roads were empty, shops closed, and a groud of people burning tires on the middle of the roads, firing in air, and breaking anything that comes in their wa, be it cars, or glass doors, shops, buses.Who benefited from it? the people who saved every penny to run their family hacing to pay fir their broken goods? is there no better way to mourn a dead leader? other then causing the public harm? no peaceful way to strike?
People in pakistan are complaining about the predisent Asif Ali Zardari, and his reckless actions. But why? Arent they the ones that voted for PPP in pity of Benazir’s assasin? Were emotions playing a role there? Well since he is already selected, why not demand our rights? WHy not keep a check on them?
Just recently, Pak was given fund of 23 crore US DOLLARS! convert that to rupees and you get the picture. So where are the funds being spent on? on the high security of leaders? or the education of their kids studying abroad? or the weekly supply of wine for dinner?
IS it just me or was the money suppose to be spent on education, healthcare, safetly of the pakistani public? Who is keeping a check on the treasury of Pakistan?
9 crore of Pakistani public, 90% of pakistan have cellular facilty, and are using it. So out of all the technologies, this what the nation really required? 16/24 hours there is no electricty, and cellular phones where a neccesity?
Pakistan soi gas kay liye famous hay worldwide, and 60% of the nation cooks on wood fire. SO we are denied the facility we are known for. 55% of familes live on maximum of 2$ a day!!! SO loadshedding, poverty, terrorism, drone attacks, lack of health care, education. Our issues these days. Yes every country has issues but they resolve them, while we drag ourself into them as much as possible it seems.
I am sorry to say , it is not even the government, it is the public who wears a blindfold on stupidly. ITs the public that dont question, demand, and fight for their rights.
Is this the Pakistan, the ISLAMIC REPUBLIC JINAAH dreamed of? Is it the government we wanted that shamelessly sits infront of Jinaah’s picture, and steps on publics’s rights? is this what we wanted our country to be? Will it ever get any better? will our kids, and grandkids ever be proudly be able to say “IM PAKISTANI”?
Its time for an awakening, and we all need to step up.
PAKISTAN ZINDABAD!
