Argentina is this year celebrating its bicentenary. On the 25th May 1810, Argentina took a decisive step on the road to independence from its imperial ruler, Spain, when a council of notables in Buenos Aires ousted the Viceroy.
Since then, Argentina has seen territorial expansion, wars, waves of European immigration, and economic boom and bust.
The modern state of Argentina has a rich musical culture, not just the tango. Three Argentine musicians reflect on their homeland at 200.
