Audio gallery Problems and Few Solutions

thanks

hmmm, the 5mb limit is for the (Media Uploader/Recorder) and the (Web Upload - No Software Required) or just (Web Upload - No Software Required)?

All song uploads, whether web upload or thru the media uploader have a file limit of 5 MB.

5Abi Bhai, as far I know ...
now there is no restriction on size, cuz Who--me is using a compressor LAME, which compress file and reduces the bit rate before it upload,
correct me if I am wrong, regards!

irem, might be facing a slow connection problem, so I told her to use DietMP3 !

thanks for your help guys

 is there something wrong with the uploader or is there some problem on my side :konfused:

tonight is the third night i’ve stayed up so late jus to upload this song coz internet is fast at nite after 1 am and still i cant upload… :frowning: i used diet mp3 to compress the file, and its below 5mb now, but now its getting stuck at 2021798 bytes

using this new method, is it still possible to download songs onto our hard drives?
thanks friends!!!

Correction:

IF you use the Media Uploader, the file limits are as follows as shown in the image below.

Files should be less than 5MB. Recording should be less than 7 minutes.
This is the error you will get if the file size is greater than 5MB.

On the other hand, if you are using Web Uploader, there is not file size limit. I just tested it by uploading a 15MB file.

Please install the WinAmp on your PC to stream the music. Audio Gallery doesnt support Real Player, Win Media Player or any other audio player that you have set as your default. If those players work for you, more power to you. Otherwise we insist that you install WinAamp, its free and most widely used audio player.

Also, please note that you wont be able to download any music from here. Your downlaods are limited to 25% of the original and thats it.

Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly..

On your IE, go to Tools > Internet Options then click on the tab Security and then Custom Level. Another box will appear, scroll down to "ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins" and select "Enable" for the fields shown in the pic below. Close all windows, restart IE. Hope it works.

have you tried any other browser besides IE?

Try it on MyIE2 brwoser. Do you use MS Virtual Machine or Sun Java?

Guppy wrote on 06-01-2004 03:12 PM:
i removed Sun Java, and installed MS-VM and its working fine now.

Thank you.

the link where i downloaded MS-VM is http://www.virtualmachine.tk/

Guppy uninstalled Sun Java and downlaoded MS VM.

Problem resolved.

irem this is a known issue. I'm looking for who-me as well to fix this.

When this window comes, scroll down to the bottom of the window by highlighting the text with your mouse's left button. At the very end you will see something like this:

Paste the following into your post:
-mp3].619046142-/mp3]

Paste that llink into your post, that is the file that you uploaded. Ignore the rest of the warnings/errors.

hmm i c, thanks :)

its news to me btw that that window is scrollable...i couldnt have guessed

will try to upload the file when i get the chance and report back here abt whether it worked for me or not

Could someone tell me what i have to do.. can't listen to tha songs no more.. :(

ChillyMilly, do you have winamp installed?

Underneath the grey box is a blue link called "winamp", click on that and tell me what happens. If you have WinAmp installed already, it would open the music file in WinAmp, else you will get some error.
