Good to see the lawyers getting back to work and doing what they are paid to do.
Attorney General welcomes PBC decision to appear before courts
Attorney General Malik Muhammad Qayyum welcomed the decision of the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) to appear before courts five days a week and hoped that PBC would also end the boycott on Thursday every week in the interest of litigant public.
The Attorney General said Tuesday while talking to APP in his office about the decision of the Pakistan Bar Council regarding curtailing the boycott of the superior courts from six days to only one day.
It may be recalled here that Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has decided that lawyers would attend courts five days in a week in view of problems being faced by litigants saying that this decision has been taken in larger public interest.
