attitude problem

i think you folks have an attitude that i just cant tolerate.

take for example what happens when you click on the place where the ‘add post’ usually is on a closed thread. you get this message

‘Sorry! This topic is closed! You will now be returned to the topic.’

I mean come on. look at the punctuation over here. theres an exclamation mark after Sorry. You’re not actually apologising, you’re kicking us away. “This topic is closed!”. Would it kill you folks to not rub it in?? You will now be returned to the topic .. Note the fullstop. That says.. you cant do diddly squat about it so shut up. FULLSTOP. aaugh!!

I humbly request the closed thread message be revised to..

‘Sorry… . This topic was closed because we thought you are too important to read drivel like this. no offence to you ofcourse. You will now be given free coupons to IHOP’

I dont harbour much hope from you people accepting reasonable feedback. I see people are still called junior members when they join, inspite of you having no evidence for saying that. and inspite of my strenuous objections. but i guess you cant get by without breaking our egos eh?

Actually, you can READ all the drivel you want, to your heart's content. Only that you can not ADD more drivel, because quite frankly it is just drivel, anyway.

In any case, your polite request for additional politeness is being forwarded to the technical team in a polite manner. Lets see if they can fix the system's default attitude problem.
