One of my friend holds a degree issued from USA. He would like get it attested from US Embassy but they refused providing reason that in process of attestation (from his current location to USA and than back to him) there is no gurantee that the original degree might be lost. Do any1 know how to get it attested from Education Ministry as well as well from Foreign Ministry of USA?

He can have a copy mailed to the US Consulate, directly from the university/

University in states and now he's in ME. He want to submit his documents in local ministry and they said you must get it attested from your Pakistani embassy b'coz ur pakistani. Pakistan Embassy countersign the degree if it is already attested by from where it was issued.
