I want to draw the attention of the top admin of GS to the shameless attitude of Ali Syed, a moderator, on Pakistan Affairs forum. He has deleted my very valid and reasonable posts on a topic related to Syria. He has also done that in the past without giving any attention to the principles of moderation as are followed by discussion forums around the world. Time to take action against such black sheep as otherwise people will stop coming to GS.

We cannot allow sectarian stuff on the forum. If you can follow the guidelines fine otherwise suits you.

You didn't allow that? Anyone taking a deeper look at GS can clearly identify heavily sectarian stuff promoted by one group. I've made a very valid complaint to the senior admin and demand a answer from them, not a person who does not even know the abc of moderation

I don't know what were the posts about which were deleted/moved but as Ali said if it is sectarian stuff and about 'Syria', then I think he made a wise decision that he being a 'Pakistani' deleted/moved posts related to 'Syria'. Sounds like he respect 'Syria' more :)

Just for your info, it was the so-called moderator who made a post on Syria on Pakistan Affairs citing the obscurest of source. When I mentioned that, he started deleting not only my posts but even the replies of those who quoted my post. And now he is turning to the stupidest of rants without any validity.

Murfid, like I said I don't knw what were the posts about. He posted u mentioned, then he started deleting maybe he found these posts are not appropriate or turns the thread's topic into something other. He's just doing his job why loosing temper than? You are still here and you can discuss the same topic but in different approach. :)

The posts he removed were very much valid. He not only removed my original post but also the quotes in other members’ replies. He still had the audacity to not delete his reply to my original post thus misguiding the people coming onto that thread.
By the way, you are just a senior member not a senior admin. I need an explanation from them

We as channel admins and moderators have taken quite a few steps to ensure that forums discussions are sect free in a civilised manner. Mostly we succeed. Sometimes we dont as it is not easy to please everyone on the forum and we are not here to do that!
Now coming back to the thread Mufrid, I have gone through the removed post and to be very honest, I did not see much wrong with Ali's actions. Granted you doubt the source of the news, which many people have said in their posts but NO ONE crossed the limits in doing so. And you repeatedly did that unfortunately.
In short, your point about news source may have been fair but your way of communicating that was NOT and hence the edited post.

Amal, another PA admin reinforced Ali's biased original post. Biased in the sense that he cited the most unreliable of sources.
As for my original post, it was completely within the guidelines. I've seen more open posts in the past (when moderators were educated and informed) that helped in open discussion.
On a related note, one can see a heavy bias in the posts initiated or commented on by Ali on PA that are related to sectarian issues. I've also pointed this out in the past and anyone sifting through his (and Amal's) behavior on sectarian posts will find them extremely biased, sorry to say.
Proof? Go through such posts during the last two months alone and you will find glaring examples of that. Discussion should be moderated by those who are totally unbiased. As a matter of fact, moderators on 'recognized' forums don't usually initiate posts, let alone openly taking sides.

If you want to help me correct myself, provide a proof of my biased attitude. If by being biased you mean pointing out the terrorism of a group which openly owns it and tries to justify it through Quran or Shariah sorry I wont buy your argument. There's no justification of terrorism no matter who carries it out.

How can I continue in that thread when the so-called moderator has deleted all my posts? That’s my point. The reins of PA forums have come into the hands of those who are extremely biased and don’t even know the abc of moderation rules.

I urge other readers to go through all of my posts alone and look at the replies of this so-called moderator. That will clearly show his extremely biased attitude.
As for that moderator, I don't even like talking to such people who abuse their authority.

Dear that's the point I've made on this thread. The mod under discussion is heavily biased and thats what I m saying. He has deleted all of my posts on that thread and has already mentioned that he will continue to do so. Such is the neutrality of that person. It's degrading for me to write anything on that forum due to shameful attitude of the moderator.
I've made my case and fully believe that the mod under discussion is totally biased. Proof can be found in my previous threads and his replies or his replies on other such topics. His replies on the Syria forum also point towards his extreme bias. What more can I say? I've already made my point many times. End of discussion from my side.
