Attention seekers

Ever this speech in W-11 (or any public transport).. ‘Market main ye product 50 rupe ki hai, magar company ki mashoori ke waste aap ke liye sirf 10 rupe main’?

There is also a group, which says to every customer ‘waise to ye (aam) 100 rupe kilo hai per aap ke liye 80 rupe laga lenge’.. mere taaye da puttar si. Such apnaiyat is probably specific to Desis.
**
But… There is another version of Mashoori (fame)**

Ek aur mashoori.. People just were ready to be shown on TV screens (especially when there was one channel in Pakistan). I remember one of my cousin got a 5 seco role (to bring water for wadera in a regional play of PTV) and he phoned everyone to watch the drama in evening :bummer:

Is this kind of hunger (addiction) to become famous still exist and in all cultures?

re: Attention seekers

My friend’s brother was offered a role to play a ghunda and chase Mahnoor baloch he declined :k:

It varies from person to person like maybe your cousin wanted attraction or something like that so he called everyone to make sure no one miss it.

Re: Attention seekers

lols at ghunda behind Mahnoor Baloch. rightly declined :k:

But in our desi society, people do whatever they can do to get famous. Even matters covered under ibadaat (like qurbani on badi Eid) are not saved from this.
