g prince bhai aap ne dekh lia k thread ki heading kya hi members aaye n aik bhi reply nahi hi apni post ki aur farrar ho gaye aaisay to nahi hota ab main kya kahoon k kya kia jaaye log yahan aksar ghusa bhi kartay hain agar kisi ko koi suggestion do.so ab yehi ho sakta hi k hum to iss forum k ho chukay hain yaheen rahain gay aur uss waqt ka w8 karain jaisa k jab sabh aik dosray ko family member ki tarah treat karain n aur kia keh saktay hain moderatores he koi kaawish karain to may b kuch improvement ho. :(

Well i would say people from this forum should appear in others as well.
Poetry is the last thing most of the people think about. Its tough to create interest..I can definately suggest few things no doubt…
I dont think it would be a bad idea for people to post their poems in their voice every now and then. No we wont be making an audio gallery here-- but just to post a poem in correct pronunciation etc.
I really think mod’s new idea of posting a picture and asking people to write something about the picture is a great thing.
We have numerous people in Image gallery who post their own pictures… If mods from here find a picture very interesting they should get permission from that guppy and post their picture here. Have people write a shair on it and post it back as an image with shair appearing on the picture in image gallery … that thread also should have a link to the thread in peotry.

BEINGLONELY, your concern is legitimate. There is a long and tragic story which can explain why Poetry forum reached this state. nia_khan will happily stand witness to what a happening place it used to be. Mods of this forum are very well aware of it and view it with great concern. But we cannot do it alone. We have taken a few steps, as nia_khan has pointed out, to improve the situation, but members' cooperation is a must to help the forum regain its lost glory.
We cannot plead everyone to enthusiastically participate in the forum, but we urge those who are concered about the situation, to:
1: Appear in as many threads as possible.
2: **Say a few words in praise/criticism of a thread and just not leave a thumb there. (Prince Ali*, this is especially for you ;) )
**3:* Try to quote best part of a thread. It shows to others what sort of a taste you have and how did you view and unerstand the posted stuff.
4: Reach your favourite members through PM or somehow let them know that their collection is good and appreciated. Making secret of a this feeling will not pay you anything and making it public will not cost you anything.
5: Give attention to everyone who appears in your thread. And give special attention to those who take time to write more in your threads, ask questions, praise you or otherwise.
6: Participate in Bait Bazi, and do highlight good aashaar. Were you never praised for anything good in your life? I am sure you were, so just repeat it here.
To writers of Shora-e-Gupshup, if you expect and wish others read and appreciate your work, so do others. Write one ghazal less and allocate that time to your readers in Intikhaab also. You have only that much importance that you give to others!
We need to communicate with each other more to make it a family forum. These are a few points which I am sure will set the ball rolling. Happy posting AND replying :)

4:n jis banday ka shair sabh se acha ho usay nominate karain
5:jaisay shora e gupshup main match it ka thread hi
6:wahan log apnay shair send kartay hain but yahan famous poets k share karain gay
7:n i sure k ppl ka interest zyada hoga n
8:compitition se jaan aae gi forum main n loog khud ko jitaanay k liye achay se achay shair post karain gay.
aaap ky akehtay hain kia aaisa ho sakta hi i really want to say k intekhaab k users shora e gup shup k match it ko zarrror dekhtay hain n reply kartay hain cuz they like it thx hope u like ma suggestion:)

ok i promise i will take the first step amal :~) over the weekend will post something here in my own sureeli and darawwwoni awaaz :~)

I do want to mention few things here again. Everytime there is a special day that comes in history of Pakistan or in Islam. This place needs to be reminded to do something.
For example! There could have been bait bazi on rabiyalawaal. People would have posted their own shairs on Islam etc, Love towards Allah and Prophet PBUH.
23 march went by - i did get few really good peoms out of few guppies and they did get posted in the thread in cafe.
The next day that i can think off is 14 August i dont think there is anything else in between. [please correct me if i am wrnog].
there should be a post on these things as well.
Last - there are some heck of shairs on gupshup- I don't htink it will be a bad idea to create like a virtual Dewaaan. And very few selected poems can be posted there by the mods only. those poems that get recognized :~)

I have been thinking on these lines for some time. I was planning to start The Best of XYZ in which our Shora-e-Gupshup writers will post from their work anything that is close to THEIR hearts. We plan to dedicate one week for any writer who wants to showcase his best work to the public. Than there is an idea of combine ghazal of all the poets here. Please keep giving us your ideas, and more than tha, keep visiting us

Ek sugestion ye bhi hai k aap SGS mein ek mushaaira karwaaya karein “tarha misra” de kar. Us k liye kuch time makhsoos kar dein jis mein poets ghazalein tayaar kar lein or phir us time period k baad agle do teen din mein apni ghazlein post kar dein. Un ghazlon mein se teen ko 1st, 2nd, 3rd best ghazalz of mushaaira qaraar dein. Us mushaairey ka ek eddition yahan intakhaab mein daal dein. What do u think of this…???
