Attending a wedding - wedding look ideas??

Ok sooooooo I have to a nikkah, a mehndi, a baraat and a valima.

For the valima I have booked professional hair and makeup and I am most likely wearing my own Valima dress being newly married and all that its a deep purple so I will go for a vampy dark lip and bedroom eyes.

Ok for the nikkah I am wearing hot pink, mehndi I am wearing light pink and yellow combo and baraat— dont know yet!!

What kind of looks would you do for each event if you were newly married yourself?

Re: Attending a wedding - wedding look ideas??

For the nikkah, I'd keep the eyes simple and do a hot pink lip.
For the mehndi, keep the skin very dewy and fresh, a gold smokey eye, and a light pink lip. And you want your cheeks to be flushed with a pale/pastel pink.
For the baraat, I'd do something really dramatic like a arabic eye with lots of glitter and a nude lip, and lots of highlighting+contouring.

And also it depends on how close you are to the couple/family. If you know them well, you can get away with a lot of makeup. If you don't know them too well, I wouldn't do something overly dramatic because it might look like you're trying to outshine the bride. Another rule of thumb is that if the women of the family/ bride are known to wear a lot of makeup to other people's events, you can get away with lots of makeup.

Vary your hairstyle. Waves one day, braid the next, up-do on the third day.

I would say ditch all the online stuff and go actual dress shopping to local bridal salons.
