Attempted Food Diary

Attempted because I am really rubbish at keeping upto date with this kind of thing but I know it really helps me.

Trying to lose weight around 5-10 lbs.

Im going to write down what I eat and also I will probably moan here too and write about my weird compulisve eating habits and not so great relationship with food. Anyways so here goes.

Breakfast : Nothing

Lunch around 1pm:

2 ryvita crackerbread things 70 calories (i think)
1 dairylea triangle which i spread over the ryvita 50 calories
1 low fat yogurt 88 calores

Dinner:

2 Chicken seekh kebabs grilled - i really dont know how many calores however im guessing 300ish
Sweetcorn out the can: 130 calories ish
Low fat chocolate mousse 2 pots : 140 calories

All Together : 780

Aims for tomorrow to actually eat breakfast 2 boiled eggs hopefully and to eat a heavier lunch and lighter dinner as that is healthier. At dinner time i seemed to lose control and stuffed my face really really quickly and that I ate wasnt that great for me anyways.

I know I am eating hardly any calories and some of you will tell me off for that but I have been sitting 9-5 in lectures and now Im sitting in the library I dont have time for excercise! booo

please eat more. and no more cardboard with processed cheese.

I just also had a salad nicoise no dressing. About 200 cals I would say. So about 1000 overall. Although I feel hungrier after eating it which is odd. Maybe I'm just thirsty.

I think a 1000 calorie diet would be good, just maintain protein levels. With a 1000 calorie diet, you would have a calorie deficit of about 1000-1200 calories per day. That means you will be losing a kg every 7 days.

Try to eat a heavy breakfast and a light dinner

Okay so today I actually had breakfast woohoo!

2 boiled eggs at 9.30 - 166 calories

Lunch 12 om : Salad of lettuce cucumber tomato carrot beetroot and a little crumbled feta cheese. I am approx calculating that this comes to about 100 calories.
Also had a low fat yoghurt 91 calories

Just came home now 5.30 and had:

Another low fat yoghurt different flavour - 77 calories
Half a tub of vegertable soup- 106 calories
A small handful of crunchy nut cereal which i just ate dry due to my intense carb craving - I really dont know how many cals - maybe 30?

So far thats 570 - 600 calories just adding a little extra on for any miscalculations on the salad and crunchy nut.

I may have something around 8-9ish I will see how I feel. Even though I had a good breakfast I actually felt sooooooo hungry after lunch :( I dont know why. Maybe I will add some grilled chicken or tuna to my salad to bulk it up tomorrow.

The lack of carbs makes me very tried and irritated and grumpy in the afternoon.

Okay I really need more at lunch time.

6.00pm Just ate the rest of the soup 106 calories and A choclate mousse 77 calories ate these both in a very bingey and out of control manner!

So all together around 800 calories so far.

Eurghhh bit of a not great day today!

SO breakfast 2 boiled eggs 160 calories

Snack - 2 digestive biscuits 140 calories

Lunch - Tuna baguette - 500 calories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Snack - this granola bar which i thought was healthy but its like 340 calories WTF!

Just now a salad with a bit of feta about 100 calories

So about 1240 calories which actually isnt that bad but its not exactly great food that i ate :S

And im stillll kinda peckish! boooooooooooooooooooooo
