MULTAN: Korean transport company Daewoo has suspended its Multan-Lahore and Multan-Peshawar bus services until the restoration of normalcy, company’s spokesperson said on Thursday. “We have suspended services on these routes for the time being, and will resume running buses on these routes after the situation returns to normal,” he said after the company’s terminal in Peshawar was torched on Wednesday. zero tolerence on these hooligans. Apparantly militant groups had individuals trained in rioting for a more professional touch. Musy should shoot rubber bullets at any idiot breaking the law in this sitaution.

and one thing i dont understand is the our HOLY PROPHET (PBUH) tolerated insults and beatings at the hand of the infidals and still he pardoned the ppl at the end......and what these mindless mullahs do is that they destory there own house... the protest should be peaceful and should be carried in a way such that to hurt the enemy where it hurts them and not us!!!!

Let me tell you what I really think......
Destroying property and burning flags, and other such things are not desirable. They should strictly be stooped. However , I am sure and clear about this: The Pakistani security forces and intelligence agencies are quite good at stopping such acts. So eithe the governemnt did not expect this or the other thing is that they themselves encouraged it.
I am not talking about this bus burning (which is terrible and cowardly on part of the protestors) but I am talking about the day when protestors entered the diplomatic enclave. I live very close to that area in Islmabad. It always has high security. How could that happen in the first place? How could so many people gather and then do such stupid things and the high security fails? So something is fishy...
I would agree that Mullahs are to blame for their stupidity and narrow mindedness, but maybe the governement is also equally responsible.

I am so pissed off @ what these mullah's did in Lhr and in Peshawar during the strikes. They burnt off buses and broke the windows of local banks and in Lhr, it was hell really. I think Punjab govt should take the hell out of these mullah's since their acts would make the foreign investors have 2nd thoughts about investing in our nation. REally, everyone is upset from these cartoons but there is a way to protest and clearly these hooligans have done more harm than good for the people in Pak and the muslims around the world.
On the other hand, I also believe that it wasn't the average citizen who purporated these attacks. These were some extremist type of people who took advantage of the situation. I am all for the ban of the next strike for Fri the 24th. I hope if it occurs, it goes smoothly.
