Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

Those who incite these actions should be hanged. The provision in Pakistan's constitution that distinguishes between Muslims and non-Muslims should be deleted.

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

U need to relax, thats three rage filled posts in a row. I don’t think u get so mad when sunni’s or shiites are killed by these extremists.

Personally, i think its obvious Ahmadis are not Muslim, but to kill them is another thing. Live and let live, and let God sort out believers and non-believers when the time comes

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

this is sad...if not muslims, they are still pakistanis, if nothing else, humans and we should respect them.

Eight killed in Pakistan attack

Police in Pakistan say at least eight people were killed and 19 injured when gunmen opened fire as worshippers gathered for Friday prayers.

The attack on members of the minority Ahmadiyya sect took place near the town of Mandi Bahauddin in Punjab.

The Ahmadiyya profess allegiance to Islam, but were declared heretical by a constitutional amendment 30 years ago.

Police official Mohammed Arif said the gunmen rode up on motorbikes before entering the mosque and opening fire.

‘Religious terrorism’

“So far we only know that three men riding on a motorcycle suddenly came in the village Friday morning. Two of them went inside the mosque and started firing,” he told the Associated Press.

When I reached the mosque, I heard cries and saw blood everywhere

Masood Ahmed Raja, eyewitness
About 150 Ahmadiyya live in Mong, a suburb of Mandi Bahauddin, 150km (94 miles) south of Islamabad.

The head of the mosque, Sadiq Hussain Sherazi, was leading prayers when he heard gunfire and “immediately threw myself on the floor”.

“The attackers thought I was dead and that is what saved me. After a while I got up and saw bodies all around me. There was blood and chaos all around and the wall was full of bullet holes.”

Masood Ahmed Raja, a doctor belonging to the Ahmadiyya sect, said he was going to a mosque when he saw three masked men escaping on a motorcycle.

“I had no idea who these men were, but when I reached the mosque, I heard cries and saw blood everywhere,” he said.

“I don’t know who attacked our mosque, but it seems to be an act of religious terrorism.”

Persecution

Interior Minister Aftab Sherpao said: “We condemn this attack. Any act of violence in which innocent people are killed should be condemned.”

Shahbaz Bhatti, head of the All Pakistan Minorities Alliance, also condemned the killings, but said the government had failed to protect minorities.

Human rights groups have constantly highlighted the persecution suffered by the Ahmadiyya in Pakistan.

In August, authorities closed down the offices of 16 publications run by followers of the sect in Punjab city for “propagation of offensive material.”

Bangladesh has also banned publications by the Ahmadiyya movement amid demands from Islamic hardliners that it be declared non-Muslim.

The Ahmadiyya were declared non-Muslims under the Pakistani constitution in 1974.

The sect was founded by Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam [Ahmad], who was born in the town of Qadian in Punjab in 1835.

The Ahmadiyya believe he was the Imam Mahdi, or the Promised Messiah.

Sectarian violence in Pakistan mostly concerns the rift between the majority Sunnis and minority Shia and has claimed around 4,000 lives in the past decade.

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

Just tell me one thing?

How the hell do we people take the right to decide who is a muslim and not????????
And how the hell can a county declare some "weak" people to Non-Muslims????

You are muslim? Then you´re forgetting that a muslim isn´t allowed to call a muslim a non-muslim! I am a muslim and speak the Kalima.

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

Well, Its a shame that innocent people died during what they were engaged was worshiping. No word can condemn this inhuman and animal-like attacks.

On the other hand did we even sit back and think why and how these attacks would be happeing?

The sole reason for these attacks is to cause hatred among people.

Knowing so many pakistanis are religeous one way or other (minority or majority) and emotional, 'outside' forces are actively trying to sponsor or carry out these attacks on religeous places and specially during time of worship.

Weather Ahmadis are muslims or non-muslims is a different debate and irrespective of that, there has never been any provision Islam for taking lives of innocent people.

No matter who they are.... Ahmadis or any muslims/non-muslims..they are still Pakistanis and we must respect them for who and what they are.

Pakistan needs to be peaceful and thats a bigger win for all of us.

We must not forget we have lots of people who hate Pakistan and keep trying finding ways to make Pakistan look bad in the eyes of the world as their number one or lets say extremely important task!

We must know its just not acceptable for Pakistanis to tolerate these acts and must not get carried away in the hands of anti-Pakistani agenda.

My deepest sympathies with the victims and wish their families the best so they can get through these difficult time with strength. Ameen.

We must be aware of Anti-muslim activities by hateful people.

People like Talwar jee and P. Danda sure have found the way to stimulate the argument in this thread.

P. Danda said 'muslims on muslims' to initiate the argument in different direction deliberately as he does in many other posts.

Talwar jee thank you for notifying about the person in a SUV.
Now go back to your 'bill' you two.

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

say what you have to say directly, don’t be a woman.

you wrote an essay when all you had to say was “It was RAW”

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

Why do you think I had to say it was RAW?

Are you a woman not answering this question?

Did you run away?

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

trying to turn the topic?

Islam and Pakistani condemn these animal-like attacks and Pakistani will be together
no matter how much outsiders try or no matter how much other differences are there among Pakistanis.

Ahmadis are Pakistanis and we respect them for who they are.

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

Dude if you think its artificial you can stop calling yourself a Pakistani and go kiss india’s ass… Youre not even a Pakistani so shut up. I know youre a complete idiot but where did I say he was Muslim or non-Muslim, are you mentally retarded. No go and celeberate these killings.

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

Exactly, this chel chebali is a racist bigot for sure!

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

My first post was agreeing with M_S that what has happened is sad and unfortunate and should be condemned but this shouldn’t be took as an excuse to start labelling Mirzais as Muslim or their place of worship (Ibaadat-Gaah) as a Mosque.

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

The word 'qaidiyani' is deregatory, they prefer to be called Ahmedis, some people can be such low lives, no one is asking you idiots to call them muslims, but learn to show some respect, afterall Pakistanis were killed. Phir tum logoon ko UK Aloo shops me koi paki yah musla keh dey tu tumhari haath me aajati hai.

Re: Attack on qadianis in Mandi bahauddin

This was a very sad day for Ahmadis around the world. To have to face the death of their brothers. What happened... Its an inhumane act. Period.

For those that are bringing in pakistani constitutions and what not, be aware that Ahmadis are humans first and then muslims. It's sad to see that killings such as these are being done by "so-called" muslims or those who "think" they are muslims. Islam teaches peace. That is the message that Ahmadis FIRMLY believe in. LOVE FOR ALL HATRED FOR NONE IS THE MOTO of ISLAM. To kill innocent humans that believe in the message of Islam and peace is absolutely unacceptable. Here the issue is not about constitutions and who is a non-muslim and a kaffir. This is about humanity. The freedom to practise one's faith in one's mosque.

I hope the people who did these attacks are given the treatment they deserve.

If this is the message of Islam that the rest of the world is getting, then its better to be called a "Kaffir" and die in your mosque than live amongst "so-called" muslims who commit these heinous crimes.
