shamelessly a moderator in this thread has been taking clear side and then had guts to say he's not biased. amazing
media since yesterday has shown its true face. complete blackout off what actually happened on ground. what i've heard from people, juloos stayed there for long unnecessarily, delaying jumma prayer, during khutba they were first requested to either delay it for the jumma or just move somewhere else so that jumma namaz could be performed, but instead they intensified noise and became more harsh in "tabarra" they were doing in front of masjid at jumma time. some people from roof top threw blocks in front of juloos and then juloos guys opened straight fire on masjid and burnt it.
Minority may have a day when they find strength but eventually the majority will overwhelm and even do a massacre as seen in Quetta in the last 10 years.
I think its not about minority/ majority issue. Minority is well aware of the reaction of majority for certain acts, but these acts are repeated again and again leading to conflicts. In current incident, there is no authentic news what happened and how the area turned to war-zone leading to burning of mosques. Its an irony that we all love to quote demolition of Babri Masjid (leaving our all differences asie) to make a point against India, but when masjids, Imam bargahs and other holy buildings are burnt/ destroyed in our homeland, we don't find enough courage to condemn the acts in absolute terms.
mashallah how can we just tolerate non sense hatefull post of this khoji.
He is justifying killing of those students, janjua was banned and khoji is spared?

Images
Images clearly show who was firing and who are the illers, now it is duty of gvernment to bring justice to thse people, like the picture in which that student irsahd ullah is being murdered before these goons run to iran.
CM Shahbaz was nowhere to be found. Also Sheikh Rashid (who is the NA member from the area where it happened, NA 55) was also missing, other than his usual banter on a TV talk show.
Again, its left to the army to provide protection to the citizen of these areas. Kudos to them.
You can't really blame CM Shahbaz in this particular case. Security was better around the country this time, if reports are to be beleived but when you have scores of people prepared for hooliganism, arson, hate speeches, and religious fervor, government can't do much.
What is big deal in what happened in Rawalpindi … or what is there to cry?
Situation in Pakistan is boiling, and has reached to such level that, something big is bound to start happening, sooner or later. Time is not far when victims (whoever those victim are, sects or community) would join hands to brutally and indiscriminately kill victimisers (whoever those victimisers are, sects or community) in their houses, mosques, madrasas, gatherings, streets, businesses, and processions. Killings may happen not in thousands but tens of thousands or even millions.
Who are victims and who are victimising? There is no need to mention, as whatever we do to cover things up, time is biggest judge and no cover could cover anyone with time.
Anyhow, such anarchy may not happen, if government would make sure to enforce law impartially and sectarian people come to their senses … but, my feeling is that, it is very unlikely that government would act or sectarian people would stop creating ‘fitna and fisad’.
May i ask who these supporters are? Just because people do not agree with your view they are not all kharijj.
It is under discussion because it is linked to the violence in Pindi that day and around the rest of the country. To make myself clear it does not mean that the procession is the root cause of the violence. You cannot discuss one issue without linking the related facts. Quite clearly, for better or for worse, people are beginning to now question why it happens.
One important thing - if this was known to be an SSP madrassa/mosque then why is the procession going down that road? Would it not be sensible to use a different route?
I am against all of these processions - they are just used an excuse to cause trouble frankly. Which ever sect puts them on causes a nuisance to the members of the public.
It was not a deobandi madressah, it was a Sipahe Sahaba madressah. There is a difference between a khariji whose sole purpose is to kill in the name of religion and a sunni/shia.
That madressah is a known den of Sipahe Sahaba terrorists. And it was spreading thel same hateful propaganda while the procession was passing through there.
**One thing this incident has done is to expose supporters of khawarij here on paklinks.
**BS. If there was any cursing going on that day, it was from that terrorist den which called itself a madressah.
Who cares what you personally agree with? And while muqawwee won't say it you, why is it even under discussion?
Quite easy to do in some cases when those do not accept the finality of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. If a guy claims to be a Muslim and tells you he believes in two Gods...can he be son?
When a group claims to be Muslim yet they believe there were prophets after Muhammad peace be upon him, can this be so?
There is a base belief of what a Muslim believes in. It is not rocket science.
As for living in England - Islam is more open here and people can research their faith more freely here. They are not spoon fed a warped version of Islam by illiterate Maulvis.
I always thought this cursing the Sahaba accusation against Shias were just ignorant comments by ill-informed people based on prejudice. The amount of people claiming it and experiencing it is quite a lot. We as Muslims revere the Sahaba therefore anyone cursing them must be heretical and committing a very major sin.
This is not about taking sides and quite frankly you have a lot of people on here saying its such and such a groups fault without even being there! Does it matter whose fault it was? It is water under the bridge except for the families of the people who were murdered.
"England: The country where Pizza gets to your house quicker than the Police"
You live in England and you are declaring some groups or sects as non-muslims!
Instead of looking at things in one dimension, we may want to put our personal bias aside before analysing the situation. always two sides to the story.
I have already posted that the account was recently created and only used at the time of that incident and not after that with very little following, it appears fake . and i think it was all preplanned how the account was created to do this.
.
so are you suggesting, that not just ASWJ account but Sipah media movement twitter account is fake as well? and both were created by Shias for this particular incident? why would they do that? what would they gain out of this? they go through the same route for years and it always ended peacefully, out of nowhere, this year they wanted to create chaos?
you do realize that it does not make any sense, Shias being in minority and know the sensitivity would not pre plan such a thing, where at the end of the day they will be looked as criminals.
What we fail to see is that this isn't about Shias/sunnis, we are well aware of LEJ/SSP hatred for Shias since its inception, their attempts to create division among sunnis and shias. we should not allow them to succeed by believing their malicious version of story. Many of us are still unaware what exactly happened but we all are jumping to conlusions.
Shias and Sunnis have coexisted in peace and harmony for years, it was only after inception of such banned outfits, we started witnessing walk chalking, hate speeches and attacks on individuals/processions. We could curb on sectarianism if ignorant factions from both sides (leaders/speakers) are held accountable for spreading hatred, whether its abusing of Sahaba or Shia kaafir slogans. there should be a legal punishment for all these individuals!
This twitter account has over 7000 accounts, and has been established for at least more than two months ago. I have not been able to reach the first tweet.

It appears strange that they were preparing against tabbarra as per tweet and then they despite all the preparation could not kill or injure any one? and that could have been much easier if they were prepared to do that as they had a large gathering to fire at.Plus this means that there used to be tabbarra during past years and they were just trying to stop them from abusing umahatulmomineen:razi: and khulfa e rasheedeen .
The image @ post 256 clearly shows they were beating him not saving him. This is also proven from the video where they are trying to stab him.I think that only solution is that rather then trying to justify or protect the killers of rawalpindi massacare we should move towards bringing justice to them. this seems to be the only feasable solution to erase the tension. I have not heard any news that givernment has asked people to identify and help in arrest of these people whose faces are clearly visible in this picture.
