Now if some “hot headed” loon from the other side tries to seek revenge from Shias coz he also lost family members in the disgusting fasaadi mob attack, would you use this ridiculous and nonsensical term “dark justice” to approve that sort of violence and material destruction?
Ladies and gentleman, now you know you can never have peace in Pakistan. I think this thread has exposed quite a few faces.
That is the difference. Those ‘hot heads’ from procession did not go after any common deobandi or barelvi or ahmedi or christian. They went to that terrorist den and members of a banned organization.
But these people will go after and kill innocent people among shia (or even sunni) communities who would have nothing to do with it.

It is clear that the authorities did not do their job and let this incident happen. At the same time Shias need to see that they take out too many processions per year in all the city centres of Pakistan which led to economic losses and then lead to such incidents. They should have the liberty of whatever they do but not to become nuisance for others.
I have many Shia friends and yes they curse Sahaba & Umhat-ul-momneen and if someone deny he is just doing bakwas. A prove, you will never find name Umar, Abu Bakar or Usman in Shia Community. Basically they are Rafzi Shia.
why they curse Sahaba? Ans. According to them Hazrat Ali (R.A) was more eligible to become Khalifa above of Hazrat Umar or other Khulfa even they said (Nauz Billah) He should be Nabi. I’ve listened this thing from Shia people and this is 100% true.
There’s is not difference. An act of terrorism is an act of terrorism. Niether Hussaniyat nor Pakistani laws tells you to take laws in your hand and spread violence. How could you find a nerve to justify and approve yesterday’s violence? The shias who were also involved in all the fasaad are as much criminal and deplorable as fasadi from the other side of the group. What’s stopping you from condemning the violence that has no place in Islam and is totally against the laws of Pakistan and spirit of Muharam? If nothing, just tell me who won from all this? Islam? Pakistan, humanity or shais or your ? You really need to stop your habit of picking and choosing the the type of terrorism and violence you support and justify.
PS: You haven’t even proved it that it was indeed a SSP den (not that it still justifies starting a bloody riot)
A suggestion for Mods to move posts that are inviting separate discussion (why such incidents happen, does Shia people curse Sahaba) to separate thread in respective forums. Though these futile discussions have been carried hundreds of times in past with no results.
going by ASWJ last tweets, its apparent they wanted to stop the procession and create chaos, as they told people to come to this seminary, which validates what Shias were saying that insults were being hurled at the mourners. However, does that justify killing of those people? Shias should have showed restraint and patience, they should have carried on with their procession, ignoring the insults and the matter should not have escalated! and there would have been no loss of lives. what happened was really unfortunate and what is even more saddening to see instead of condemning regardless of our sect, we are just blaming each other.
To avoid conflict one needs to stop people who create conflict. If SSP is banned then keep it a banned organization. Just changing the routes of procession will not work because they create conflicts everywhere.
The thread going towards where its need to be closed or moved few posts to Religous fourm where that can be discussed. We need to be calm down HERE and in real world!
Dear muqawwee, where is your advice to jasos regarding what he needs to discuss?
And jasos, if you want religious discussion then go to the appropriate forum.
But as far as my views are concerned, everyone should be tolerant of everyone else. If there are some shias doing it then they are fools as well, and they should stop.
For 10 long years ASWJ/LEJ and TTP have tried to create a sectarian war in Pakistan, but their designs have been foiled everytime. I hope this flame is doused here, otherwise there will be destruction everywhere. All other conflicts are confined to some areas, this can engulf the whole country.
Yes, people who went after that terrorist den should have shown restraint. They acted foolishly and made themselves criminals. They gave Sipahe Sahaba and its supporters an opportunity to exploit the situation.
This is not what Imam Hussain would have wanted from them.
To get back to the topic, Pakistan should definitely use the police tactic of kettling to guard the procession and all routes must be carefully reviewed and approved by the authorities.
