The bitter truth is negative aspects of deen are more dearer to people in our part of the world. We didn’t inherit Mustafa’s (SAW) traits of being Rehmat lil Aalameen and forgiveness for those who once remained blood thirsty enemies, we inherited 1400 old enmities which are surrounded by historical inaccuracies. In Iqbal’s world ‘Lahoo garm rakhne ka bahana to chahiye’.

Fair enough, if you’re a religions person who believes in theory or magic, but big elephant in the room is religion in politics. Pakistan was a tolerant country until 70s when people lived together w/o bloodshed. What has changed since then?
