What I find odd is that we have debates on these issues every time something bad happens, but one no one asking is why is this happening? A country that was founded to Muslims…than why are Muslims killing each other? What went wrong? And more importantly, what is being d one to fix it? Why are we not have honest self reflection? What is the underlying cause for all this?

The bitter truth is negative aspects of deen are more dearer to people in our part of the world. We didn’t inherit Mustafa’s (SAW) traits of being Rehmat lil Aalameen and forgiveness for those who once remained blood thirsty enemies, we inherited 1400 old enmities which are surrounded by historical inaccuracies. In Iqbal’s world ‘Lahoo garm rakhne ka bahana to chahiye’.
