Re: Attack on pindi madressa
I’m witness of such clashes in my hometown. Yes, it was a common practice by Shia to pass through sunni areas and stop near a deobandi madarsa for longer time and cursing Sahaba. They use to give a feeling that Yazeed’s darbar was in process in the Madarsa and result was clashes (though no casualties). Considering these issues, administration of the town now supervise procession vigilantly and don’t allow the procession to stay in front of Madarsa. They just cross Madarsa (as they didn’t agree to change the route.. Though the alternate route to reach their destination Imam-Bargah is more open and shorter).
The point is if it was known that Madarsa in route of Pindi procession was of SSP or any opposite sect, the procession should have been supervised properly and there should not have been allowed use of loud-speakers either in juloos or in Masjid/Madarsa at the time of procession. Alternate route should be taken in such circumstances and ego like (its our traditional route, we can’t change it to belittle our iman) should not be allowed by authorities at the expense of human lives.
