It is a pure medical technical issue . The brain issues can not be known by the appearance . My son was having a very small wound on ear and he is total disable since nine years . The hospital is famous for its head injury treatment .

I agree ‘brain’ issues can not be known by appearance, but article does not mention any link of this reconstruction to any of brain/body malfunction.
