I find it weird, the picture that is posted alongwith article, her head is without any ‘bandages’ which means it has no wounds, then why does the skull need to be reconstructed?

and below is the pic when she was being transported to ‘advanced’ facility after the attack:

here it shows the wound was on the forehead.

It is a pure medical technical issue . The brain issues can not be known by the appearance . My son was having a very small wound on ear and he is total disable since nine years . The hospital is famous for its head injury treatment .

I agree 'brain' issues can not be known by appearance, but article does not mention any link of this reconstruction to any of brain/body malfunction.

KARAK: Chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Sunday accused the government of being a slave to US approval for its internal, external and economic policies.

Addressing the ‘Islam Zindabad Conference’ in Karak, Fazl said the attack on teenage activist Malala Yousafzai was a “drama” and that there was no sign of an injury after the bandage on her head was removed.

The JUI-F chief said he sympathised with the child activist as “raising a hand” on women is forbidden in Islam, but there were other “daughters of the nation like Aafia Siddiqui” who also harboured a great desire to promote education in the country.

“Aafia Siddiqui was sentenced by a US court to 86 years of imprisonment even though they have no proof of her having links with al Qaeda.”

I had an accident with some minor injuries on my forehead (4 stitches) ... for next 4 days my face was swollen like 2-3 wasps have bitten me all over. I still have that scar on my face which is easily visible.

when i look at Malala's face (there were pictures of her 2-3 days after she was shot) I don't see any such thing .. either the bullet didn't even touch her skull .. probably might have burnt few hairs and thats it or thats all

Judging from your post, you are more concerned about the cosmetic consequences of the stitches on your face.. while if I was you I would immediately go to have a thorough brain scan done..

Reminds me of musharraf after mukhtar mai's case. He didnt allow mai to go to canada and gave a statement that "women in pakistan intentionally gets gang raped so they can get canadian vijja".

For those who dont think she was hurt, please use your brain cells, not every injury was caused by bullets, she could have fell, pieces of glass could have hit her, etc etc. If you dont think she was hurt then no one can help you.

In Delhi gang rape, people didnt see her, didnt know her name and till date there is no name and pic available, and still it started a countrywide movement. Trust your ladies man, especially when they are still a child.

Thank you for pointing that out Ehsan. I was about to write that until i saw your post. At least there is someone who noticed that. Its so ridiculous that many of us like to stay in the state of denial. The problem with Pakistan is that we have very significant number of people who believe in conspiracy theories and are always in a state of denial. According to them all Pakistan's problems are cause by USA, Mossad and cia. Just this represents a mindset of losers who cannot think straight.

TTP accepted the claim on Peshaware airport attack ... with those Tattooed Taliban ...

The question here is that is it really TTP doing all this or is it TTP being funded/supported/trained by others to do all this ?

For the sake of clarity lets assume whatever i am saying is bull**** (which most of the guys think ... I am dissing myself here because i am gona diss you guys next :p) but what happened after that ? all of sudden people (like you guys, whitewashed by one sided news ... there you go guys :p) started in favour of invasion by Pakistan's military in that region. Imagine your own military going against you. Just like they did in south Waziristan operation. No doubt they will clear the land from those taliban but wouldn't it force them to flee in remaining parts of Pakistan ?

Think all of these things from a strategic point of view and i am not saying these based on my personal observations. Consider them coming from one of the army officers. Attack on one little girl has been made such a big issue and degrading the image of Paksitan to further depths and no one is talking about thousands of children who lost their parents or their body parts by drone attacks. Why is this so ?

the claimed reconstruction pictures that i have seen were also for this visible side of the head

apparantly the bullet went from her head down by her ear and then into the shoulder according to the bbc
